Abstract

The article examines the patterns of interaction and transmission of information about the personality, creativity, and legacy of L.N. Tolstoy based on the specifics of thinking and forms of perception of a modern digital person and the digital transformations taking place in society. The author of the article identifies the following patterns of perception and interaction that contribute to the preservation and transmission of information about L.N. Tolstoy and the writer’s creative legacy: L.N. Tolstoy is a modern person – concept (or linguacultural sign); L.N. Tolstoy is a modern person – brand; L.N. Tolstoy is a modern person – visual image (via screen, display window, stage); L.N. Tolstoy is a modern person – art object; L.N. Tolstoy is a modern person – number (gadget, Internet space). The article shows the importance of numbers for a person and the relationship between the concept, brand, and visual image in the perception of L.N. Tolstoy and his legacy.
