With the development of information technology, data governance has had an increasingly profound impact on the construction of smart campus. From the perspective of the current situation of smart campus data governance in colleges and universities both inside and outside the Liaoning Province, the research on innovation models of smart campus data governance in vocational colleges and universities is of great significance and value. The specific plan for the innovative model of smart campus data governance in vocational colleges and universities can be achieved from four aspects, including: the first is building a unified data open platform to promote the diversified opening of data resources, the second is constructing a comprehensive data warehouse under a data governance architecture to achieve unified storage and sharing of data across the entire school, the third is establishing standardized data security mechanisms to strengthen privacy protection in smart campus while developing data standards and institutional norms to strengthen data maintenance and protection mechanisms, and the fourth is improving the application of data governance achievements to achieve value enhancement of data assets.
