The education on the strengths of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics is an important part of ideological and political education for college students. It guides young college students to form a correct understanding and positive identification with the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, which can strengthen their confidence in the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, establish a solid belief in the ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and grow into qualified builders and reliable successors of socialism. The article examines the practical work of ideological and political education in universities and analyses the value implications and path of integrating the education on the strengths of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics into the ideological and political education of college students.
