Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of the museum-estate of Leo Tolstoy "Yasnaya Polyana". It shows the inextricable relationship between the life and work of Leo Tolstoy and Yasnaya Polyana, which is defined as a unique cultural space combining material and spiritual reality. The article emphasizes that the culture of the Russian noble estate Yasnaya Polyana participated in the formation of a cultural ethos, that had a huge impact on the physical, intellectual, spiritual and moral development of Leo Tolstoy's personality, his formation as a writer, thinker, philosopher, teacher. Russian Russian Museum-estate Yasnaya Polyana focuses on highlighting the spiritual, moral, cultural and cognitive potential of the Yasnaya Polyana Museum-estate, which is based on acquaintance with the life and work of Leo Tolstoy in various forms, his religious and moral teachings and familiarization with the culture of the Russian noble estate, the way of life of the Russian countryside in particular and Russian culture in general.
