Abstract

The ideas of putting the people first, the unity of heaven and man, and the pursuit of self-improvement contained in the Yellow River culture are highly compatible with the values advocated in ideological and political courses. In-depth research on the theoretical basis, content, predetermined goals, practical difficulties, basic paths, and evaluation mechanisms of integrating Yellow River culture into ideological and political courses in colleges and universities can help improve the teaching effectiveness of ideological and political courses and promote the close integration of Marxist basic principles with excellent traditional Chinese culture.
