The 2nd Conference on Education, Language and Inter-cultural Communication (ELIC 2022) was held on Sep. 27-28, 2022. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was held online. The Conference is jointly organized by International Science and Culture Center for Academic Contacts (Russia), and Zhengzhou Yingchun Conference Planning Co. Ltd (China).

ELIC 2022 covers a number of problems covering Education: Higher education, Language education, Educational management, Educational technology, Art education, Music Education, Innovative research in the field of pedagogy, Special education, Occupation education; Language: The knowledge base of  language teacher education, Effective teaching methodologies in language and literature classrooms, Grammars, syntax, semantics and discourse, Text analysis, understanding, summarization and generation, Linguistic, psychological and mathematical models of language, Spoken language processing, understanding, generation and translation, Language, identity and culture, Language and the new media, Language and ICT, Progress in human language technologies; and Culture and Intercultural Communication: Language and cross-cultural communication, Intercultural communication competence, New media and globalization, Communication failures, Translation and cross-cultural studies, Localization and globalization, Journalism and investigative reporting, Media responsibility and ethics.

The results of the conference are presented in this collection of academic articles. 51 articles were submitted to the Conference, and 24 of them were accepted for publication after a thorough review by three reviewers. All papers included in this collection will undergo careful review by three experts before being selected for publication.
